Bitumen also known as Asphalt, is still the preferred geological term for naturally occurring deposits of the solid or semi – solid form of petroleum . It is a sticky, black , highly viscous liquid or semi – solid form of petroleum. It may be

found in natural deposits or may be a refined product, is classed as a pitch. It is used for road surfacing and roofing.

Base oils are used to manufacture products including lubricating greases motor oil and metal processing fluids .Whether

or not a crude oil is suitable to be made into a base oil is determined by the concentration of base oil molecules as well as

how easily these can be extracted. Base oil is produced by means of refining crude oil. There are large numbers of crude oil

all around the world that are used to produce base oils.

Rubber Process Oils which are widely used across various industries and are popular as safe and environment friendly products. Different grades of superior quality Rubber Process Oils are offered which are used for the manufacturing of various rubber produces, from both natural as well as synthetic rubber. Rubber process oil is

an oil composition which has  kinematic viscosity at 100 °C of from 32 to 50 cSt & which contains less than 3%  polynuclear aromatic compounds employed as a process oil for rubber compounds, especially aromatic rubber.

The process oil is compatible with  aromatic rubbers  but contains  less  toxic polynuclear  aromatic compounds

than conventional aromatic rubber process oil . Rubber products of acceptable quality are produced by the use

of the said oil composition.

Paraffin wax comes from petroleum. It is a by-product that is created when crude oil is refined. Paraffin waxes are made up

of large, well formed crystals. It is used in a variety of different markets like cheese coatings, candle making, food packaging

and crayons . One of the many products  derived  from  refining  lubricating oil, from which  a byproduct called  Slack wax is

obtained. Slack wax is a mixture of oil and wax. It is the product, which serves as the refinery’s feedstock and that is further

refined and blended to create value-added petroleum wax products.
